Adam Kimball, DPT
Hello! My name is Adam Kimball, and I am a member of the Madden and Gilbert Physical therapy family in Hershey. I have been local to the area all my life. I grew up in Elizabethtown, PA, and attended Elizabethtown Area High School. During my time in high school, I participated in travel ice hockey, lacrosse, and rugby. I enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly hiking, cycling, snowboarding, fishing, and golfing.
My passion for physical therapy began when I broke my arm playing rugby in our state semi-final game. I ended up needing surgery including two plates and twelve screws to fix my broken arm and subsequently physical therapy to return. While in physical therapy I was able to observe expert clinicians spend one-on-one time with a wide variety of patient populations, injuries, and valued the interpersonal care they provided to each one of their patients. After rehabbing my arm, I spent the rest of my day shadowing at the clinic. From this experience, I decided to pursue a profession in Physical Therapy to help others heal naturally.
I attended Lebanon Valley College where I graduated with my Bachelors of Exercise Science in 2022 and my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2024. During my time at LVC, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. One of my final clinical rotations was here at the Madden and Gilbert Physical Therapy clinic in Hershey. It became evident after a week of my clinical, this is where I wanted to begin my career. I am passionate about combining personalized exercise programs with hands-on manual therapy to create a unique plan to help achieve your goals!
