Lexi McEvoy, DPT
Hello! My name is Dr. Lexi McEvoy, and I am proud to be part of the Madden and Gilbert Physical Therapy team in Harrisburg. I grew up in Lancaster County and attended Conestoga Valley School District where I played soccer and volleyball. After experiencing more ankle sprains than I could count, I became familiar with physical therapy as a patient myself. Watching my pain decrease and my confidence return showed me just how life-changing PT can be, and it inspired me to pursue a career helping others do the same.
After high school, I attended Lebanon Valley College where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2024 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2026. During my time at LVC, I was part of the Honors College and was inducted into Phi Alpha Epsilon, an honor society for academic achievement and service to others. Some of my favorite memories include hammocking in the Peace Garden with a good book, playing volleyball on the sand court on campus, and teaching yoga and meditation classes each week for two years. I have so much appreciation for the mind-body connection and believe that great care includes considerations for both physical and mental health.
Throughout my clinical experiences, I developed a strong passion for pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy. I believe PT is so much more than treating symptoms-it’s about empowering people to take charge of their health, build confidence, and create lasting changes that improve their quality of life. My goal is to create a safe and encouraging environment where patients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their journey.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy listening to music and podcasts on Spotify; you’ll often find me listening to the Mel Robbins Podcast and singing along to a variety of bands such as Duran Duran, The Beatles, Weezer, and COIN. I also participate in line dancing with my family almost every week where you’ll find me wearing pink sparkly boots. I love building meaningful connections with patients and helping them return to activities that bring them joy too!
I look forward to meeting you and creating a plan together to help you achieve your goals!
