When I started I could really do basic activities like walking especially running. But after I went to physical therapy everything got better. I started doing stretches that helped and exercises. I have been doing pt for about maybe 2-4 months and my hamstring has gotten back to full mobility.

I began my journey with Brenna and Sarah one week after my knee replacement. This was my second time around for knee therapy, however, a previously broken arm was causing me frustration, and so Brenna and Sarah quickly rallied a lower table to allow me to be comfortable through the process! These two young women are amazing and have chosen a profession which is a blessing to us all! Their patience and kindness provided a calming affect to allow me to push through all the steps that I needed to regain strength and get back to my everyday functionality. I am SO grateful!!! Days before I was scheduled for shoulder surgery it was canceled due to insurance reasons. My good friend recommended coming to Madden Physical Therapy. I am so grateful she did!! I went to Madden PT on Jonestown Rd. after receiving an order from my doctor to help relieve pain and increase movement of my neck. This had been persisting for about 4 months. X-rays showed arthritis and disc deterioration in the neck area. Dr. Brenna Strawser did my evaluation and felt that I could be helped with PT. Over the next six weeks Sara Bender and she saw me 3 times/week. Every day seemed to show improvement in motion and reduction in pain as I moved my neck. At about 4 weeks I could move my head either direction with minimum pain and much less creaking as I moved. I was able to look left to see traffic approaching instead of repositioning the side mirror to see. The best part of the PT was the relaxed neck stretch that Brenna or Sara applied every session - it was very soothing. Their care for me and interaction made me feel I was important to them as a person, not just another patient. If I have to return for PT in the future, I would request to be treated by them. Brady is amazing. He is thorough and caring. He touches base with ever visit. Brady is so attentive and understanding. I have been through a lot during therapy both physically and mentally. I firmly believe I would not be where I am now without his constant support. I will miss my time at therapy but glad I'm back to "normal ".
