After sustaining a knee injury at work, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from day one they made the entire process smooth and encouraging. Every single person in the practice was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about my recovery. What stood out most was how well they worked together as a team—everyone was on the same page, knew exactly what I needed, and kept me progressing every step of the way. They pushed me when I needed it, supported me when it was tough, and always made me feel like I was in good hands. I was diagnosed with vertigo by my doctor and was recommended to have physical therapy. I am new to area and stopped into Madden & Gilbert in Shrewsbury, mainly because they were next to my grocery store. I was greeted by two lovely and friendly front office receptionists. They were able to get me in the following week. When I went to my appointment, I was seen by Taylor, who is amazing! She was knowledgeable and explained vertigo in terms I could understand and explained what therapy I would receive. After the first session I immediately felt better. Everyone I worked with were friendly and patient. The facility is clean and welcoming. If I ever need future PT, I will not hesitate to to Madden & Gilbert. I will also recommend them to family and friends.

Finding Madden Gilbert has been a Godsend. I originally had a major issue with Vertigo I went and saw Dr. Matt and he gave me some new exercises (that I did not find online) that absolutely helped stop the Vertigo attacks over a reasonable amount of time. I later had a hip replacement and went to them for PT after that, and they were great to work with again. When there was a little bit of a complication from the surgery, they helped me work through that as well. The ENTIRE TEAM at Madden Gilbert Shrewsbury was amazing and wonderful to work for... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MADDEN GILBERT SHREWSBURY!!!

On 7/29/2025 I had a total knee replacement. I started therapy several days later with M&G coordinated through Taylor. I underestimated the pain involved and was a bit of a grouch with the team at first. Taylor, Alec and Olivia were my primary care team thankfully. They were each empathetic, positive, patient and knowledgeable. They helped me get my full range of motion back to my knee and greatly helped my stability while working with a Parkinson issue affecting my opposite foot. I had 5 star care from a 5 star team. I highly recommend Madden & Gilbert.

My experience at M&G has been nothing short of amazing! They were recommended to me by a work colleague and I have to say that I am so happy to have listened. The positive, friendly environment is evident when you walk through the door and are greeted by the friendly ladies behind the desk. Although I had the great pleasure of having Jeremy as my PT, every staff member you come across asks you how you’re feeling and genuinely cares. Matt checks up on you with his emails to make sure you are feeling good and are pleased with your progress. Jeremy, my PT, is truly gifted at what he does. I transferred from another physical therapy office just so I could be closer to home to get to my appointments. When starting at M&G, I had some mobility after my knee replacement. At the end of my treatment, I could move my knee in ways I haven’t been able to in years! Jeremy’s kindness and compassion helped me to stay committed to my recovery goals. I appreciate the team of Madden & Gilbert and look forward to seeing them all again after my next knee replacement.

Madden & Gilbert was an amazing find! Professional staff from scheduling, check-in, and top-rate physical therapy evaluation, instruction, and support. I have been to numerous PTs over the years and Madden&Gilbert has yielded me the most positive results by far. Easily the best group I've ever had the pleasure of working with or even meeting. The pain I was experiencing could have been treated a couple different ways but coming to this office was easily one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Not only did I avoid potentially addictive pain medication and possibly eventual surgery but I had the pleasure of meeting a really great group of people that I consider friends. The therapists and the assistants at Madden and Gilbert really treat you with genuine care and compassion. They are knowledgeable, beyond friendly, and completely concerned with your well-being. This is a caring group of people with truly your best interest at heart. They treat patients like family. They were AMAZING with me and with everyone else I observed them working with. My extreme pain was relieved and I was fully restored within 3 months - med-free. Their supportive care not only helped me physically but they also uplifted my spirits, which goes a long way for physical healing.
