I was referred to Ryan at Madden & Gilbert through a free assessment at Fleet Feet. I had severe pain in my left foot, which was diagnosed as plantar fasciitis. After several weeks of PT, my foot pain has completely disappeared. I also was experiencing a lot of pain in my right knee. Ryan has also helped my knee to improve greatly. I really felt that Ryan listened to me. If any of the exercises hurt, he had me stop and he recommended a different exercise. He and all of the staff are very nice and made PT fun, if that's possible! Ryan was my assigned therapist, but from what I saw, would also recommend treatment with any of the other therapists there. I hope I don't have to go back, but if I do have pain again, I will 100% return. Thanks!

I recently have been suffering with Tendonitis. My General practitioner referred me for Pt as well as a podiatry appointment. I was able to get in to PT right away. So I made the podiatry appointment and started PT. Within the first visit my pain was reduced. After 3 weeks I went to the podiatrist and right away I was so thankful that I did PT first. Had I gone to the podiatrist I would have been in a boot for 6 weeks .After the 6 weeks, I would have been starting at ground zero. Meanwhile doing PT I have reduced my treatment time and no boot! When in doubt, see the team at Madden and Gilbert and if they feel you need a physician appointment they can advise you. I highly recommend them!

I first came in with a bad knee and stretching and strength exercises quickly improved the problem. Secondly my balance needed to be addressed. Learning that I had poor walking habits was a big surprise. With good encouragement from Carol Weber I learned better habits walking, turning and using steps both up and down. I have been working with Jan for about a year to address pain and fatigue issues due to hypermobility and dysautonomia. Even though I didn't have any formal diagnoses when I came in, Jan always took my symptoms seriously and worked with me to find solutions. I even was able to have my first sessions in a private room with the lights off to accommodate my sound and light sensitivity and moved out into the main room once I was more familiar with the environment. I've made enormous progress since last year that I feel is largely due to Jan's knowledge and expertise. I truly can't say enough good things about the whole office!
