I had been suffering from a pinched nerve that was causing me shoulder pain for approximately 7 months when I happened upon a Facebook advertisement for a free shoulder pain clinic at Madden and Gilbert Physical Therapy. The price was right, so I attended the clinic and afterwards spoke to the presenter, Matt. He felt they could help someone with my symptoms, so I made my first appointment before I left the clinic. I'll admit that I was skeptical physical therapy would be able to do anything for me, but the cervical epidural I recently received had run its course and the thought of having injections every 4-6 months didn't thrill me. I couldn't have been more mistaken. Within a few sessions, the pain that would flare up throughout the day was much more subdued and less frequent. By the time I "graduated" I was only having minimal pain if I slept on the side with the pinched nerve. Now I am able to enjoy all of the activities I could enjoy before my pinched nerve reared its ugly head. The staff here are amazing. Actually "amazing" probably doesn't do them justice. From my initial assessment with Veronica, I knew I was in good hands. Her attentive listening and insightful questions made me feel heard and understood, leading to a well-tailored physical therapy plan. Veronica and her team kept track of my progress and tweaked my program as I grew stronger. Jenny, one of the wonderful staff members, demonstrated new exercises, answered any questions and made sure I was performing them properly. They also incorporated manual therapy to stretch and manipulate my neck. I enjoyed going and enjoyed the experience. I honestly looked forward to each and every appointment. I was feeling better, and getting stronger and I always felt like they cared about me. I wasn't just another name on the roster. I felt they were just as invested as I was in my healing journey. How often can you say that? Since I graduated, I have been able to enjoy many activities that had become too painful to participate in (such as snorkeling on vacation), along with less fun activities (like snow shoveling). I cannot say enough good things about Madden & Gilbert and their staff. Gold stars for Veronica and Jenny!

Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy in Shrewsbury, PA has really helped me. They are a great team of PTs that are very attentive to your pain and come up with the right exercises and resistance levels to get you pain free and feeling right again! I came in with severe pain in the neck, shoulders, and arms. Taylor, Olivia, and Alec were able to help focus exercises and stretches on the muscles that have alleviated my issues completely. I'm so thankful to them!

PT at Madden and Gilbert has been awesome! Matt and the team have been super helpful and really want and see you improve. I was having pain in my SI joint which would flare up often, especially after going to the gym. I learned so many different exercises to help improve the pain and now I can go to the gym without being scared of a flare up :) 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I was not happy to hear that I needed to go to PT for my ailment. I have a busy schedule, negotiating with my family when I can seek treatment. I sought out the most local place. They have hours to help. It is a blessing in disguise. It was clear from the start that Veronica knew how to help me. The first thing done was an introduction in a private area for me to share and explain the ailment. She listened first, asking questions for clarity, sharing next steps for an action plan. Once on the floor, I was uneasy, seeking guidance on activities, making sure I was doing the activities correctly. The team Veronica surrounds herself with, places her trust in, especially her partner Jenny, are just as incredible. They are all aligned, knowledgeable, and have the same goals to help you. They pull you in, have genuine conversations with you, know how and when to read the room to make things pleasant for everyone to do their routine. Veronica knows how to utilize her time and work with you when you need it. I can watch her work one on one with someone, fully trusting her team to support the room. They work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has a great experience. Without a doubt, if I must return, I will go here. The first issue was resolved quickly. They knew what to treat and the other impacts that require treatment. The practical approach is brilliant. I’m in such a better place now.

I am very pleased with my PT experience at Madden Gilbert Shrewsbury. Everyone is so friendly and helpful but more importantly results driven. My program to address reoccurring knee swelling was well planned. I have a tendency to push hard which was part of my problem. The steady, progressive program to strengthen the muscles around my knee combined with laser treatments made a big difference. I feel much stronger now and am confident that I can continue my normal activities without getting uncontrolled swelling in my knee. I highly recommend the Madden Gilbert Shrewsbury team!

What a wonderful experience in my journey to figure out how to manage this new painful diagnosis. My left foot was bothering me for two months. I went to my primary and she recommended PT. I contacted Matt at Madden and explained the problem. He diagnosed it and tendinitis in my ankle. After a few visits, and working with the team the pain started to go away. Towards the end of PT my wife and I traveled to Europe. On average we walked about 18,000 steps a day with no pain or problems. The team at Malden is amazing. I would highly recommend them.

Over the course of 15 months I was treated by Matt & team at Madden & Gilbert (Shrewsbury) for back pain, sciatica and weakness that eventually led to spinal fusion surgery. I went to PT to see Matt after hearing about what a superior clinic it is. I traveled 40 minutes and it was well worth it! The source of my discomfort and pain was identified and a plan was implemented. Each week, exercises were adjusted and new ones added based on progress. Manuel therapy, targeted exercises and understanding my individual needs helped me get back to normal daily activities without pain and discomfort! The whole team at that clinic are amazing!!!
